Dec. 12, 2005 - MORTGAGE RATES

Rates on 30-year mortgages, which had fallen for two weeks, resumed an upward
climb this week. Freddie Mac reports that rates on 30-year, fixed-rate mortgages
averaged 6.32 percent, up from 6.26 percent last week.
