It's called an "investment product," though many view it as gambling. The Chicago
Mercantile Exchange will offer trading next year in housing-price futures, which will
allow investors to predict which way real estate prices will go, put money down, and make more money if they're right. The product could offer big investors a hedge
against the risk of a real estate bubble.
