Oct. 27, 2005 - GSE Oversight

The U.S. House yesterday overwhelmingly approved a bill to strengthen
oversight of government-sponsored enterprises Fannie Mae and Freddie
Mac, but the initiative still faces obstacles to final passage in the Senate.
