Ban pit bulls? CNN has mentioned his name four times in the past minute. Just how many people were vetted, as he was, they wonder? But they are not staking out his house, from what I can tell. Still, AP is formally saying that he is/was a finalist. Of course, naming him a finalist is just smart. Picked or not, the Dems just helped highlight a really bright, smart guy who can help resurrect the party in Texas. Who is this guy? The real GDUB knows it's the president's own congressman, chairman of the veterans affairs committee in Congress, and Pelosi's suggestion for veep. A moderate Texan who won in a district drawn specifically to get him out of Congress. And a fightin Texas Aggie. I could go on. ... Google him. he's the best choice, I think. But I'm not holding my breath. The Edwards thing is probably a smokescreen and a tip of the hat to Queen Nancy. Chet isn't sexy enough to convert many voters, even Texans.
