My sister

Today i am not so busy that last days and i am able to let me a break to write something in the blog. Last week, or may be it was this week (cant remember any more) i watched a very good movie "In her shoes". It is a film about 2 sisters who are too different to understand each other. They go through lots of misunderstandings and finally find the way to each other. I liked this movie because it reminded me of my relationship with my younger sister. We are also very different: I always got everything i wanted and it was easy for me, she did  not care about her life much and always did what she wanted paying no attention to other people. We are not best friends and we have different attitude to life, i always hated to be the elder sister, she hated to be the younger one. I had many friends, she had few. I finished the University, she even didnt want to enter it. Now she is married and has a wonderful daughter and i am single and dont have any children. (But last months i really thing how good it would be to have one or two little girls).

Even when we are so different we stay sisters and love each other, but it is so hard to find a way to each other. We grow old and become wiser. And we are more tolerant and more patient and we dont ignore each other any more even when we are so different. Or may be because we are so different. I am thank ful to God and to my parents that i do have a sister because to have a brother is a different thing. I hope those who have sisters will understand me. I dedicate this entry to my sister though she will never read it.

And here are some quotes about sisters' relationships:

“A sister is a gift from God, sent from above to make life worthwhile here below.”

“A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost.”

“Sister is probably the most competitive relationship within the family, but once the sisters are grown, it becomes the strongest relationship.”

“One of the oldest human needs is having someone to wonder where you are, when you don't come home at night.”

“A sister is both your mirror - and your opposite.”

 Have a nice day everyone!

about your relationship with your younger sister. As you already know, and I hope you remember, that I am the youngest of 5 brothers and sisters. So I can fully understand your sister's feelings about what it is like to be the youngest in the family. I think that in many ways I share similarities with your sister.

Sorry that I amn't able to talk to you these days. :-(

Have a great day. :)

with love,
abhay
