Winnie-the-Pooh

For those of us who still are children in their souls...

Little Alexandra is just fond of the Disney Winnie-the Pooh. And as a very good aunt i watch all the cartoon with her together

And i wonder  how many wise or funny, and sometimes even wise AND funny things the main characters say. here are some of them

v      “If there ever comes a day when we can't be together keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever”

v      “If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus 1 day, so I never have to live without you.”

v      “If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart.. i'll always be with you.”

v      “I used to believe in forever, but forever is too good to be true.”

v      "I wonder what Piglet is doing," thought Pooh.
"I wish I were there to be doing it, too."
- Winnie the Pooh”

v      "I don't see much sense in that," said Rabbit.
"No," said Pooh humbly, "there isn't. But there was going to be when I began it. It's just that something happened to it along the way."”

v      “Those who are clever, who have a Brain, never understand anything.”

v      “Pooh looked at his two paws. He knew that one of them was the right, and he knew that when you had decided which one of them was the right, then the other was the left, but he never could remember how to begin”

v      Piglet: 'Pooh?'
Pooh: 'Yes, Piglet?'
Piglet: 'I've been thinking...'
Pooh: 'That's a very good habit to get into to, Piglet.”

v      “It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?"”

v      “You can't stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.”

v      “Don't underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can't hear, and not bothering.”

v      “Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.”

“Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.”

P.S. we spent so much money on toys and books for alexandra, now we have a lot of winnies, piglets, etc and even a winnie - screensaver on the computer

i never told you this but winnie the pool is one of my most favorite cartoons. i've watched every one of the movies and it always leaves me with a very good feeling. pooh and charlie brown shows the innocence in being a child and i still watch them even now if i see it on tv. i love you, lena.
