Hide your face, under cover,
Hide it till the world blows over.
It is not for others to see,
Only for the darkest of dreams.
Dreams restricted and forced to forget,
Meant to be hated and taught to regret.
The ones you think you want to be gone,
The ones you secretly wish upon.
Hide you soul, deep inside.
A part of you, allow to die.
Suffocated and buried deep,
Under tears you never weeped.
Bottled feelings, ignored emotions,
Forget all your inital intentions.
Learn to conform, lose sense of "me",
God forbid that you disagree.
Hide you thoughts, hide them well.
Whatever you do, never tell.
Things will only end up bad.
You will lose what you thought you had.
Truth is, you hold lies,
Lost among the endless cries.
Cries of help, begging pleas,
Drowning you within their seas.
Hide yourself, hide in shadow.
Into dark corners, never go.
Be sure that you will never expose,
Any pain or any woes.
Fake your smile, fake your laugh,
Fake your happiness and your past.
Always remember to never show.
