Pop: Keira Knightley Nude Scene, Lolita Diana Bianchi, Mimi LaRue ...

Pop three for Friday, Tori Spelling's little pooch Mimi LaRue has checked out and the actress is devastated, but she does believe that Mimi LaRue was kind enough to hold on for the birth of her daughter.  British actress (who has posed for nude pictures in the past) says she would have no problem taking it off on the big screen for the right role.  And in the battle between Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook, Diana Bianchi's name has been brought forwards again. Pop One: Tori Spelling's dog has died.  The adorable little photogenic pug died of natural causes and the little pooch is believed to have suffered from medical problems relating to her hips and neck for years.  Tori says she is devastated and misses her little pooch very much.***Pop Two: Sexy British actress Keira Knightley is willing to strip for films.  At a press conference to promote "Edge," she said, "I always bare my breasts. Knoch space crunch could impact Ribfest

Ribfest Chairman Don Emery said he likes holding the festival at Knoch Park along West Street, which offers the advantage of being downtown and a familiar site for organizers and visitors alike. While there are no current plans to relocate the event, the Exchange Club is meeting with Naperville Park District to talk about their options down the road. If they decide to stick with Knoch Park, possibilities include using additional land nearby such as Rotary Hill. Organizers also will be considering alternate sites, such as Nike Park along Diehl Road on the city's north side. Emery said the site would be ideal because of its size. Islanders 2008 draft preview

It's been a busy offseason thus far, signing goaltender Joey MacDonald to replace the steady service of Wade Dubielewicz.  They have also signed defenseman Aaron Johnson, lost Freddy Meyer on waivers to Phoenix, extended right winger Tim Jackman's contract, and signed left wing Kip Brennan. With a relatively new GM, it's tough to talk about tendencies.  Last year, with only five picks, the Islanders began to address their defense.  They took three defensemen in rounds 3, 6, and 7.  Two picks were out of the United States Hockey League, while two others were out of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
