okay i now officially hate my grandparents!!

a mate of mine (well actually my ex boyfriend joe) invited me to go over to his tonight coz hes having a kind of bonfire party like he has every year. (he had 1 last year and i went, it was pretty good) and anyway they have said i cant go! i mean how fair is that?

his mum has a spare room for me to sleep in, the same as last year and so what if he is my ex? do they expect me to jump him the moment we are alone?

i know why they are doing it, they dont want me to have a social life coz that is what a girl my age is supposed to do. she isnt supposed to have a 21 year old boyfriend or have friends who are mainly boys and most of them older than her. im not even allowed out after i get back from school, they expect me to go to shool, come home and help around the house.

sometimes i just feel like screaming ' hello! we are not in the 1960's anymore!'

my gran even said to me the other week that im not allowed to move out when i finish school coz they want to keep an eye on me.

hah!  little do they know, im not moving out when i finish school, im moving out before!

and i thought living with my dad was bad, this is worse! i mean they have even joined me up into the huddersfield choral society youth choir to 'give me something to do' on a tuesday evening.

the sooner i move out the better!

other wise i will end up totally mad and end up in saint luke's,
