| I was a cocky( in terms of interpersonal relationshipz) naive, self righteous, and spoiled. In terms of guyz ( the ones i fell for) i was clingy, jealous, possesive, and non trusting...in terms of self..i was non decisive, non assertive...and a plain ol push over. My life used to be full of pain, but i finally said NO MORE. Thre differenc between now and then is that i finally have help..... |

| Lacy's modern day spin on the Book of Job... Satan Speaking : "Sup God?" God Speaking: "Hey unholy one, what brings you here?" Satan Speaking: "Chill, chilling u know grazing the earth." God Speaking: "Looking for souls or people to tempt huh? Well have you checked out my boy Job? He fears me and shuns evil." Satan.. "Yea, yea i peeped him, he's a real soldier when it comes to you, but i bet i can break him. Just take off your shield of protection and i'll have him cursing you to yo face!" God "Say word? Aight then, sense you think you so scary, i'll let you try, just don't hurt him" From there, Job lost his land, his animals and his children, but he remained steadfast. It wasn't until his health was attacked that he began to slip and start wallowing in pity and saying things like his birth was a mistake. I read up to chapter 15. I was a lil lost inbetween but i got the gist of it. I can't wait to finish up tomorrow and see if Job repents or succumbs to the devil's antics. I certainly hope not , but he did lose everything, and this chapter really was very insightful. | ||
