Dec. 7, 2005 - Metauru News 13
Christmas, Christmas, Christmas... Marcia, Marcia, Marcia...
It's that lovable time of year where blah, blah, blah... Marcia, again... Greg... Alice...
Our first news story for today: The band is going to be in the Bossier City Christmas parade this Saturday... They thought winter meant no more marching PERIOD, but apparently not... oh, well... Metauru plans to make up for this by putting mistletoe at the end of her clarinet... *Winkies*. Then they have the Christmas concert this Monday... and after the break, Metauru get switched to her untimely doom: Wind Ensemble. Yay.
Now, for a Drama News Bullentin. Instead of having practice yesterday where most likely they wouldn't finish anyway, they moved practice to Sunday when everything would be set. Will they do a good job?
Pbhht... We wish...
Another breaking DNB! Metauru has fallen for the leading man! Where did she go wrong?! Metauru comments: "At the last boyfriend..."
And now, for a special segment: Assignments and Projects and Tests (Oh My!)
Upcoming for PHS students next Thursday and Friday are the one, the only, the FINALS! (Bum, bum, bum...). Band will be taking their finals by going to the parade and concert. Put on your long underwear, boys and girls, it's going to be a very cold march (15 miles in the snow, and-- *Gets smacked in the head* OW!! ) As for English, the normal procedure of boring, boring, boring... Algebra is taking a two-part final of 110-15 questions, each one expected to be more tedious than the last. ROTC is unknown at this current time.
Algebra is also taking a Binder Quiz this Monday. When will it end? More at 11.
English Honors is taking one last project. This one involves the art of poetry. Metauru in a fetal position also at 11.
And now, to a word from our sponsers.
What would you do for a Klondike Bar...?
