Oh, What a Wonderous Web We Weave...

Nov. 11, 2005 - No more rehearsal, Mo-Fo!!!

On a lighter note from all the past depressing blogs, today was the last marching band practice! What now, BI-ATCH!!!!

Everything went by pretty smoothly today. ^_^

Except, when Melo told me that two guys were making jokes about what happened (and sadly enough, my ((sadly still)) infatuation laughed along with them. I told her I'd gladly cuss them out for her (infatuation and all!), but she said she didn't want to sink to their level. Then I commented "Might I add, that YOU are not the one sinking to their level... I am... and I have no problem with sinking to their levels... It's a hobby of mine..."

Never did get to, though...

But from all the good things that happened today.

*~ I got to play with the wind ensemble for the Veteran's Day assembly. I did pretty well too     (>n.n)> (Until I got lost at the beginning of the 3rd page... I found my way home, though...) <(-.-<)

*~ We didn't have to turn in the homework assignment in Algebra today because all we did was watch a movie.

*~ We didn't have to take the test on the memorization of "Soothe You". Not that I didn't have it memorized, I just didn't want to do it...

*~ We didn't go to 2nd hour English honors... need I say more...?

*~ Our two roomies from the trip are back from suspension. They were of course embarrased, but Melo and them get to march with us at Northwestern tomorrow.

*~ First time Brock and I kissed since Monday, and it didn't have the guilt aftertaste. In fact, my lips were tingly all through band practice (But don't tell HIM that... )

*~ Our one month aniversary (though anniversary means "yearly", but so what... >.<) is Sunday (but don't tell him that either... ^_^)

*~Today's last and final band practice was supposed to have 5 run-throughs of the show, but only took ONE because Mr.Mitton and Mr. Coco claim it was better than our performance at Showcase.... once again... BI-ATCH!!!!! The clarinets had one last section meeting after we all touched our spots on opening set to remember where it all started (Well, actually, I repeatedly jumped on mine... but that's irrelevant...). The section leaders said "Remember this from band camp...? This is where it all started. Us in sections talking to you." Bianca kept on saying "Remember how I was the Bitchy section leader? And Kirsty is the Asian one...?" Then Amber went "Well, what about me...?" Then I said to her "Amber... we'll leave it to you to lead us in one last "Fired Up..." Then, with all her energy, she yelled "FIRED UP!!!" and we all chanted back "HEYH!!!!!!" For about 6 times. Then we went into our greatest of all chants to end it.

WHO ARE WE? CLARINETS!

WHAT ARE WE? THE BEST!!

WHAT DO WE DO?!

ROCK THIS BAND!!!!!

Everyone had the biggest of celebrations in the bandroom when a whole bunch of people played this one song together (DAMMIT!!! I FORGOT THE TITLE!!!!). Me and AoiHi danced along and had fun. Some of the upperclassmen marched the show one more time... they sounded like 50 people when there were only about 15... >.<

*~Tomorrow's Northwestern.

I'm so excited (do-do-do-do....)

And I just can't hide it.... (La-la do-do-do-dooo...)

The band's about to lose control,

And the crowd will like it...

Eat your heart out, Pointer Sisters....
