I got the dress I wanted for homecoming.... I wasn't going to go to it at first, but now that I have this dress, I shall go... as I vowed myself...
I first spotted the dress yesterday with 2 friends, Setsuna and Ari while Setsuna was looking for her outfit. I found the dress, fell in love with it, and had to try it on. They said it looked great on me when I tried it on... And for once, I actually felt very nice in something...
I couldn't afford it yesterday (for I only had a budget of $1.52 -.-... damn dress cost $159 plus tax), but after much deliberation (and begging), my mom got it for me today on my birthday, and nothing else, and I was grateful for that.
My other friend Melo came along with my mom and me (spur of the moment), and was there for the "trial of the dress". First I showed my mom the price (not a good move), but then I tried it on to show how I looked in it. Everyone agreed that it looked really great on me. It took a few minutes, but my mom finally caved in.
So I now have the dress of my dreams ready for Homecoming. Yay... but when all 3 of my friends saw in the dress, they implied the exact same thing:
Setsuna & Ari-
"When the 'INFATUATION' sees you in that dress, he won't be able to resist!"
Melo-
"I swear, if 'MEH' sees you in that, he even won't be able to deserve you!"
Yes, they are referring to the same person, and yes, they all use strange code names...
And, yes... stupidly enough, I agree with them...
Let's just hope my stupidity doesn't get my heart broken...
