I Have a Tendency to Make Myself Laugh

So I finally got my first comment from someone who isn’t a blood relative (shocking as it may to for all of you the B*** Man is my brother) or a perfect stranger! Yes! I’m movin on up… watch out Dr. Phil there’s a new voice callin out! Now that it is apparent that more people read this than just me and my mom I feel as though I need to write about something important… unfortunately I don’t have anything important to say. A weekend recap will just have to do.

Saturday: was really busy. I had Metro Kidz at noon and then left immediately to go to Cheryl’s second bridal shower in one month (well… in 30 days). Anyway she is a lucky bride… she has received so many gifts and she still hasn’t gained any of her wedding presents yet. I have to say this shower was much more normal than her last one. There were both young and old there. Her mother seemed shocked at the amount of alcohol related gifts Cheryl received… looks like they need to have a “Mom I’m Not Mormon Anymore” talk… ah… those are the best… anyway. Again at this bridal shower I had… THE BEST CAKE EVER. This one I couldn’t finish as fast as the last one though. It was literary chocolate mouse (I know that says mouse… but I know you don’t spell it like moose… or do you?) regardless of the spelling the cake was amazing… so amazing in fact that I could not finish it! Then afterward I went to visit the parents and then went to a friend’s house. Later that night I had a good talk with the friend who I was raging about a few posts ago… we’re cool now and everything is out in the open… man that was a weird fight… oh well.   

Sunday: was busy too! I prayed all day that church would get out at 12:30 so I could make it to Lake Stevens for my friend Liz’s baby shower… the Lord, however, had a different plan… church went until 1:15 and we left the church at 1:30 (cuz my friend Holly had so work to do). We literally made it to the last 5 minutes of the shower! But it was good to see Liz. She is due on Thursday and is still so tiny… she is a cute pregnant girl though. And so naturally her son Kayden Anthony will be a hottie. Baby girls of the world watch out here comes Kayden! After the shower we bought some stakes (well mom gave me money to buy some stakes) and we had dinner with the parents. Which I always love because next to Jesus the best thing in life is a nice free home cooked meal.

Well that was my weekend… and today for those of you who don’t know is the great B*** Man’s birthday. I was asked not to attend the party… or go anywhere near the birthday boy because… I embarr*** him… I thought that was my job? Well have a good rest of the day and I will talk to ya’ll later!
