I guess I should write something today. I don’t know why but I’ve felt so unmotivated to blog lately. Worry not though young blog readers I will persevere. Last night was pretty fun. Our Pastors youngest daughter Brittany came over to teach Jess and I how to knit. Needless to say we got very little done, but it was still fun. Now my maroon scarf is barely started sitting on my keyboard waiting to be finished. If only I could remember what Brittany was saying… to be honest all I can hear is her little voice in somewhat of a reprimanding tone, “I just don’t think you’re getting it. You are confusing yourself.” Oh yes, I was told by an 8 year old that I was confusing myself. Go ahead and laugh… I would. Yeah so after playing with Brittany I rescued my little brother who was gasless in Everett. Then turned around and went home. My life is oh so exciting! I don’t have much else to talk about…

Dear Lindsey,
I need your advice on this one. Ok, I so know what you mean when you say you have a friend that acts kind of shady. I have this friend who is the exact same way. My friend encourages me, gives me gifts, and loves me to face, but at the same they try to make themselves look good in front of others. For example my friend likes to throw it in my face how old he/she is by trying to make me seem like a young boy. Yes I am rather new to this whole man perspective on life, but I don’t need a third parental unit yah know? How can this person’s mouth build me up and tear me down at the same time? Don’t get me wrong I am more than a conqueror in all things so the harshness of these words doesn’t stick to me. So after reading your blog I to conclude that my friend is scared, not of me, but of them self, and letting go of some things such as their age might be a little too hard. I wonder if my friend gets adequate sleep knowing that they try to bully their way through our friendship..hmmm. It might be kind of sick but I think I like the double face that my friend uses, is this wrong Lindsey? I was just writing to hear your thoughts and if you could give me some advice that would be great.

I would love to help you; but for the life of me I can’t understand how to "love [someone] to face". Yeah... so if you could clear that up I would appreciate it.
