This is Really Long... Good Luck

Hello blog readers I am back from my 4 day sabbatical and ready to attack this blog with fiery vengeance. Wow that sounded… odd… but I’ll keep it. There is way too much to talk about; and hopefully I wont bore you too much. If you actually end up reading the whole thing you deserve a prize. Are you ready? I’m not but oh well let’s go!

Wednesday: I worked for a measly 4 hours and then went h

ome to get ready for a busy thanksgiving weekend. WU picked me up around… wow I don’t even remember (go sub-blog) and we… wow I don’t remember what we did right away. I think we went to Ezells, which I guess is a big deal. It was really good chicken though! Then… we fought traffic… oh we went to the UW first… to get… I don’t remember. All I know is we fought tons of traffic and got chicken. We stopped for a bit to eat and we had great conversation. I even got a call from a Mr. Tim Hayashi, which was great cuz; he is now so far away. After eating we made our way to the Humphrey’s house. We only made a brief appearance there before we took WU to the doctor. Yeah, WU sprained his ankle. Don’t ask… I couldn’t even explain how if I tried. Well, we get to the clinic only to find that it closed at 5 (it was 7). We did, however, meet this awesome old man who felt it was necessary to tell us his life story. He talked about the war, and past wars and yeah… he just talked a lot. I don’t remember much of his stories cuz it was cold outside. I’m sure he didn’t care though he was just chillin. So then we make a few more stops before we get back to the Humphrey’s. Once we were finally settled there we were put to work. So we sat and pealed yams while watching Back to the Future 2. Yeah the rest of the evening was really relaxed. I fell asleep while watching Back to the Future 3 and ended up going to bed around 1ish… you know I don’t remember. So yeah, I had a great Wednesday!

Thursday: I woke up earlier than I meant too, but regardless I woke up refreshed. So I got myself all ready, read my word, prayed and went downstairs. There I helped Lachelle and Shayla make waffles and get breakfast all ready. I hadn’t had waffles in ages so it was kind of a treat for me. Then I learned how to score dominos ((Vincent lost)) and again just relaxed. It was divine! Then after the family prayer we were off again to go… everywhere. We visited a few people, stopped by the grocery store, and eventually made it out to Machias. Once we got there WU went to hang out with Wiley and I got a chance to clean up (I was looking like a truck)! Then we had our Thanksgiving dinner. My mother, as always, did a fabulous job (and the leftovers are still calling my name… I’m really hungry right now). After dinner we watched “The Goofy Movie” cuz… well that movie rocks. Then we watched “Kicking and Screaming” with Wiley and Ben. The movie was honestly way better then I thought I was going to be. After that we left. I showed Vincent my old elementary school (cuz it’s so ghetto I love it). Then we went to start our first Thanksgiving tradition. We decided that every once in a while we should just start a tradition; and what better day to start on than on Thanksgiving! So… now don’t laugh, just know that you will never understand. We went to a movie and ate popcorn with chopsticks! Yup, it’s things like that that prove we are meant for each other. Cuz who else does that? The movie was cute and the popcorn… lets just say when I took off my jacket I had to clean the floor. So my Thanksgiving was great… movie filled… but great! Let me close off this day by saying that I had so many text messages all of Thursday it was beautiful. WU only had 2… and one was for me. That’s all I have to say about that!

Friday: Friday is now my favorite day of the week! Go date day! So I get home late last night knowing that I will see him again in only 10 more hours (are you disgusted yet?). So I wake up and get ready for another Vincent filled day. Sure enough noon rolls around and we are together again. This time, however, we have a mission. Our mission, create the worlds best Christmas tree ever. And seeing that we had never done anything like that by ourselves before we called in for back up. Or as I like to call him “the third wheel”. Thank the Lord for brothers! Cuz we need him to chaperone all the cheese home stuff we like to do! So bottom line after much searching and tons of money we did it! We made the worlds best crooked Christmas tree ever. Yes I said crooked… but it’s still cute and now my house smells like pine! After the Christmas decorating party Wiley had to leave. So WU and I went out in search of something cool to do. And I ask you: What is cooler than putting together a puzzle. Not much if you ask me. So we bought our puzzle and went back to the UW. To be honest we didn’t really do much with the puzzle. We separated the parts and got a good start on the top… but that was, maybe, 50 pieces of a 1000 piece puzzle. Please keep us in your prayers. After puzzling it up for a while I went home.

Saturday: Oh Saturday, you used to be such a relaxing day. I could count on you for laundry time… or sleep. Oh sleep, how I miss you… I woke up early on Saturday morning and went straight downtown to do adopt-a-block (I of course made my obligatory Starbucks stop to see my WU). The program went well and we got a lot more done this week then we did last time. After that Holly and I went out to visit my girl Tatie who was home for the holidays! It was so good to see her and she looked great. We went out to eat and then went to target to shop. While at target Tatie asked about Vincent. Once she found out that he worked at Starbucks she immediately wanted to stop by and see him. And who am I to stop her. So we drove all the way back down towards Seattle so I could see my WU for the second time. While we were there we found out that he was planning on going shopping. Since we were shopping Tatie suggested we all go together (she said it not me… but who am I to say no). Needless to say I spent another afternoon with my man and there was nothing to complain about there! After that I dropped off Tatie and Holly so I could meet up with Julie to go see Rent. All I can say is… AMAZING. I was scared that it would stink, but I was pleasantly surprised. From the first song I was hooked. I even got shushed (did you hear it Ju?) by my neighbor cuz I was singing along. Now I could go on and on about the awesomeness of Rent but I wont bore you with my raving. There are two very important things that I learned though while watching (or preparing to watch) the movie Rent. Very Important Thing #1 Rufio (you know from Hook) has a new movie coming out with Antonio Bandaras. I know you are just as excited as I am. We were just talking about him and wondering where he went… and now he’s back. Everyone together rufio, Rufio, RU FI OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Very Important Thing #2 one of the soloist in the movie (the first guy who sang “Will I Lose My Dignity”) was one of the “bash brothers” from Mighty Ducks 2. I almost screamed in the theater I was so excited. Yeah that’s it really for Saturday. After the movie I talked to WU and that was it for the day.

Sunday: This was another busy day for me. We had church, which was awesome as always. Then WU and I went to my mom’s church because she wanted people to meet him. While there weren’t many people there we still had a good time. Then we went to my parents house watched the end of the Seahawks game and finished our little village. Wiley wants me to talk about the Seahawks game… that’s more of a sub-blog thing. After my parents we went to my old high school and walked around. It was freezing! Wiley thinks we’re dumb. After that we got apple cider and taco bell. Yup… apple cider and taco bell. We got back to my place at a reasonable time but we chilled in the car talking for quite sometime. It was sad cuz we spent so much time together… and now it wont be till Friday that we will have some real quality time. Wiley’s welling up… with joy.

Monday: Well that brings us to today. It’s been a pretty average day so far. I worked, went and visited my favorite Uncle… Yao. Then I went on a mission with my mommy. And finally I found the second… no third love of my life. His name is: Mikey’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Milk Shake. I could go on and on but this is already too long! If you read this whole thing you should get a prize. Linz

I actually read the entire blog. Nice reading, it is a true blessing to hear what's going on with Lindsey and Vincent.

Even though on Oct. 19th Vincent referred to one of your posts as "childish wit" it appears he learned from it.... "I got a chance to clean up (I looked like a truck)"

After a few weeks I am back to being 100% with my words. Lookout and enjoy because its sub-blog time……

Wednesday: So I go and I pick Ms. Taylor around 1 and traffic was way crazy. So I talked to my sisters and asked if they wanted anything from Ezell’s Chicken and quote Lachelle “No I’m fine”, Shayla “Can I have a roll,” yup that’s my younger sister. Umm…Ezell’s is a big deal…shesh and by the way if you go there get the chicken strips because the other stuff sits out for God only knows how long. Enough about food. Honey we didn’t stop by the UW we went past the IMA and I said hi to some football friends, please pray for her memory, receive. So after literally being in traffic for about…1..no 2 hours we stopped and ate our food and prepared for a great Thanksgiving. So yes Tim Hayashi called and that guy is great, I am sure Melissa is as well but I never got to talk with her, so go Tim. After that, Miss Parker we went to a junior high where I played baseball and we hung out there for about an hour before we went to my house. Why you ask? Well family is great and preparing dinner is alright but I would rather hang out and talk how about you? So we finally make it to my parent’s house and we put our stuff away and we had to go to the clinic because I (cough) (cough) hurt myself. I don’t want to really go into how it happened but if you know me just ask. So yes this crazy old man wanted to tell me his life story and to be frank I wasn’t getting paid for listening so yeah I found a way to walk away with the destroyer. We to see my Aunty Linda who is my other mother and we chilled there for about before coming back to the house. We pealed yams and I made a fire and that’s all it took for Lindsey to enter into the sleep realm. My brother… well anyway that’s Wednesday. O wait we listened to Lindsey sing Pray for Rain, it brought everyone great joy.

Thursday: I woke up earlier than her, read my word and prayed and got ready while all of this waffle business was occurring. I played my daddy in a game of dominos and just because you can score Ms. Taylor you don’t want none. (Domino’s, Candyland, Life, Payday, Monopoly you name the time and the place, and I will try to let you down easier than Pastor Calvin. Burn….) So after that we left and my mother cried because this Thanksgiving was unlike any of the others. We to my Aunty Niecey’s house and then headed out to Machias. I played Madden 06 with Wiley and even though he soundly beat me I love that game. Dinner was amazing, I really liked the potatoes and go leftovers, yesssssssss!!!! Yes “The Goofy Movie” is one of my favorites of all time so we watched it. “Kicking and Screaming” all I can say is “your not even human.” So we went to her elementary school and they have this crazy looking centipede thing and it is kinda scary in the dark. So we went and saw “Yours, Mine, Ours” and while she tried to eat her popcorn with chopsticks she had a hard time. I looked over and what did I see?? Hands, she was so cheating so we had to modify our tradition to be after 45 min. of stick usage you can use your hands. I had compassion on her because she is learning endurance, please pray for her some more, receive. The whole text message thing, well yeah she killed me but I don’t want to talk about it ok? So moving on to Friday.

Friday: I love date day, it use to be high school football day, laundry day, but now it is date day. I love spending time with the woman of my dreams/prayers. So this is the first time I have ever had my own Christmas tree and wow. Thank the lord for Wiley who is so helpful. After getting ornaments and a topper..well did you know that finding a decent topper is like trying to get egg nog in August? Well it is, and our tree is the cutest crooked tree on the planet, Charlie Brown would cry. So start on a Thomas Kinkade puzzle, and yes the pieces are still all over my floor, honey when are you coming back? So I drop her off and start on my lonely journey back home.

Saturday: So I go to work, Lindsey comes by and afterwards we all go shopping. All I can say is, quote Katie, “ O my God” and “Come look at these pants.” I had a great time.

Sunday: Church was great, and afterwards we went shopping for my little sisters. Afterwards we head out to the Parker’s church. The people there were really nice, but this one little girl named Kayloni was gorgeous. For those that know me I am hypercritical when it comes to kids and how they look, but she is amazing. She kept giving me candy canes and I would throw them back and she would throw it back at me. See everything is a game…. and sometimes you have to say things like, “ I didn’t know this was game” when it comes to the things that I do, isn’t that right Ms. Taylor? So about the Seahawks game well it was radical or should I say knarly? Hmm..narly..arly…cnarly..khnarly…whatever…so it great because we won and it went deep into ot. So after setting up the village we went to Snohomish High and I started my first country song. After that we got cider and Taco Bell and headed back out to Lindsey’s spot. (this is where it gets sad) So as I am sitting in my car looking at her I realize that I won’t get to hang with her until next Friday. We grew so much closer over the last few days and I wanted time to just slow down for a while. After talking for a good while I walk her up to her door give her a hug and make my way back to the U in silence while listening to Men of Standard. Well Mr. Studdard if your Flying Without Wings what happens when reality sets in and you can’t fly for another 5 days? Lindsey I love you and when I see you my wings fall off and we soar under the shadow of the almighty…. I could throw in some comic relief here but I won’t because Lindsey is that special to me.

Thursday: Well tomorrow is date day and I can take my wings off again…..Jesus I love you….go Christmas chocolates…
