I Have a Tendency to Make Myself Laugh

I got shhhed today by my daddy. Apparently my dad has some counting issues… as in he cant count. Now let me preface this story by saying that my counting skills/math skills are nothing to brag about. In fact I am ban from the church office when it comes time to count the offering because I tend to “miscount”. So while I do recognize that counting is not my strength, in comparison to my father I am far superior in the craft. Let me tell you why: This morning my dad called me to give me my jobs for the day. One of my assignments was to write myself a check for $295.00 and cash it for him so he could use the money for… well whatever he has planned. My guess is there is a bit of Christmas shopping he wants to get done; but I could be wrong… I mean $295.00 is an odd number to choose. However, my dad is kind of odd so it might all end up making sense… Moving on, after he had given me all my duties for the day he added that he wanted his money in 5s and 10s. He is now denying that he said that… but he did. See he thinks he told me that he wanted “some of it” to be in 5s and 10s. I know what I heard. So I went to the bank and got his money in 5s and 10s just like he asked. Needless to say it took my dad about 7 minutes to count all the money because he kept losing his place; and that is why he shhhed me today. The End

Thanks Juju, I need all the prayers I can get. The bruises are healing but I am still dealing with the psychological aftermath. It is so sad to be frightened of your own offspring! I understand that she has been working out (see Fri. "Sugar Bear" post....) so I am even more scared.
