Wow, I just realized I hadn’t written anything yet today! Well how are you doing? Really, how’s life? Things are decent here. I actually had a really busy weekend… sort of.

Friday was really busy. I did a lot of actual work… at work; which is always nice. Then I went home changed and prepared for a busy evening. First a Mr. and I went to the Calvin’s little children’s ministry get together. It was cool… for the 20 minutes that we were there. Then we left to go to a talent show in Issaquah (wow I spelled that right on my first try… I thought it would have been more difficult). As we were leaving the party Pastor Lyn Felice put these names on our back. We were to ask yes or no questions till we figured out who the person on our back was. Needless to say I won… but it wasn’t really fair. Did you know that Winnie the Pooh is a Disney character? I had no clue… so yeah I didn’t take a point for that win. I led him astray… as much as I cheat I want to win this game fair and square (and I will win). We made it to Issaquah faster than we thought we would. We got there just in time to hear A Mexican sing. I have to take a second and say that he did an awesome job. To be honest I was sure how I was going to feel; simply cuz I had never heard him before. I personally thought (and my judgment was without bias) that he was one of the best performances of the night! Cuz you know… if a song causes you to make up stories with your neighbor… your delivery is less than captivating. Ah… it was fun though and I loved A Mexican’s song! Then I went home… tired and ready to do nothing the next day.

Saturday brought me so much joy. I woke up at 9 and thought to myself I shouldn’t waste the day. Then I thought to myself I haven’t had a day off in 3 months! So I went back to sleep and woke up at 11:30! That was amazing… truly… a blessing. Then I chilled, prayed, sang and slowly got ready for the big “meet the parents” drill. Using the least amount of words I possibly can the rest of the night was divine (go ahead put that word in Microsoft Word highlight and press shift F7 for more detail)… in every form of the word. You can fill in the gaps if you please. I will just simply say divine.

Sunday, to be honest I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it all the way through. I woke up totally rested (I love daylight savings time) and got to church right on time! Praise and worship was so anointed. I love it when the people of God step out of what they are accustomed to and they go to that next level. I truly believe that people were set free during the worship. It didn’t stop there though. Pastor Julia came up and delivered some powerful words of encouragement. Pastor Calvin came up and took a dynamic offering… and when Bishop delivered the word… let’s just say it was all in line. After church I stayed after for a Adopt-a-Block ministry meeting (I will write about that some other time). Then after that meeting I got my food (the Hamptons made the choir dinner) and went to another meeting for the youth. After that meeting I took Aysia and Brittany and they helped me get ready for the service the choir and I were singing at next. Then we left for Holy Ground (the church). The service was good. The choir did an amazing job and both Bishop and Pastor Julia preached dynamic words. After the service there was more food. I wasn’t hungry, but I was so thirsty and tired that I just chilled there with everyone. After the meal I went home talked on the phone… ate ice cream… watched TV… yeah and went to bed. It was a great weekend… but really busy!

I was just thinking an hour ago that I hadn't heard from you! Glad you had a great weekend! And I agree ... love it when Daylight Savings ends and we get that extra hour. Have a great evening!

So glad you and A Mr. made it to the show. To say I was one of the best is a bold statement, especially coming from a fellow musician. Thanks. It was a huge night for me, and it felt great to see God's promise come to pass. Glad you could share in it with me. And yes, Winnie the Pooh is Disney...sheesh...
