I Have a Tendency to Make Myself Laugh

Well, it’s nearly official! Cheryl and Jason got fake married last night (the rehearsal). It’s only a matter of time before Cheryl Coons will be Cheryl Edlin… I need learn how to spell that right! It’s exciting… I wish I could say the same for the groomsmen. Now I’m sure that they are fun… but to me (and the other maids) they were a little… how can I put it? Boring! Out of the four two of them didn’t say anything more then “hello” to us and gave us their name during the introductions. One of them was nice (he walks with me) and the other one’s a jerk. All of them complained but Jason #2 (that’s what we call the jerk… cuz his name is Jason… duh) was the worst. I’m sure there’s nice somewhere deep inside of them… you don’t believe me? I am a firm believer that there is kindness in everyone. Some people just hide it better than others. If the Star Wars saga has taught us anything it’s that you can find love in people who appear to be supremely evil (go ahead and laugh at that). Anyway… my buddy Cheryl is almost married and it’s so exciting. I was talking to Connie (Jason’s mom) about singing at weddings (I’m doing a solo and Julie, Jeni and I are doing a song at the end). She told us that we will have a hard time singing while we are crying. Now Julie I know is a crier and Jeni told me that she thinks she might cry too; so I have to be the strong one. Now I am in no way, shape or form a crier so when we were talking about it I was totally confident that I would be completely emotionally stable… that is until last night. Now this is going to sound ridiculously sad but I watched Britney Spear’s show Chaotic last night. I’ve never really watched it before but I hadn’t been home in time to watch TV in ages so I just watched whatever was on when I pushed the power button. Anyway, to make a long story short the episode was the one of her wedding. And sure enough I started to cry. So I’m thinking… if I cried at Britney Spear’s wedding (and yes I feel like I was there!) then surely I will cry at Cheryl’s. Now maybe Chaotic just caught me a little off guard. I mean I know that I will probably cry at Jessica’s wedding but for some reason I didn’t think I was going to cry at Cheryl’s. I don’t know… but wish me luck. The last thing I want to do is bogger cry through a song in front of a crowd of strangers… twice. Linz
