This week has been bittersweet. First I meet an awsome guy last Saturday. I've knew him years ago, we had mutual friends and I had heard about him here and there, but something about this past Saturday that really made everything click! We've been hanging out almost everyday, and it has been really nice to have someone around my apartment. That's the sweet part.

The bitter part is the response of my mother. She can be so negative sometimes. I haven't seriously dated in a years, like 4yrs and 9 months to be exact. Yeah, there was that thing with Russ, but that totally doesn't count cause he lived in Jersey and me in PA and most of what we went thru was over the phone. This guy lives 5 minutes from me and everytime he comes over he has a 6 pack of Heineken with him..... That's love.

My mom is afraid that I am moving too fast with this guy, Thank God I don't live in my mother's world. Since when was hanging out considered "moving too fast". Personally I think she is just taking it all out on me because my little sister, the baby of the family, just told my mom she and her bf of 5 years are moving out together, so I guess my mom is making me miserable, because she knows if she flips on my sister, she'll never see her again. Dee has these magical powers where she can just cut you out of her life and that is that.

oh well... I can't please everyone and really I should concentrate on pleasing myself for a change.
