gosh its been 2 weeks since i got the cold from hell and i'm finally feeling a little better today. my boss was getting worried cause it sounded like i was trying to cough up a lung at times. lol. every time i coughed he would tell me to turn my head to the side. (think about it. lol). i practically spent all day yesterday watching the bowl games. starting off with the Cotton Bowl, Alabama (#13)  beating Texas Tech (#18) 13 - 10. it was a whole lot of offense for a very low score. lol. Go 'Bama. I think i was the only one that doesn't like the Red Raiders of Texas Tech. I think their offense was over rated... they were so used to scoring 50 + points against crap teams and now see how they did when they actually had to play a decent team. lol.

 the next game after that was the Fiesta Bowl with Notre Dame (#5) losing to Ohio State (#4) 20 - 34. man i was really rooting for the Irish. Ohio State is an awesome team with a cool coach but the Irish havent won a bowl game in 8 years.

 finally it was the Sugar Bowl with West Virginia (#11) beating Georgia (#8). i was rooting for Georgia and was really disappointed that they got upset by Virginia. so basically i started watching football from 12 noon til 11:30 PM that night. lol. gosh i'm such a football nut!!!

 tonite is gonna be a good one... the Orange Bowl with Penn State (#3) playing Florida State (#22). just think that everyone thought coach joe paterno was too old and washed up last year. coach paterno at 79 still has some tricks up his sleeve and took his team to #3. i think he can still coach til he's at least 90. that dude is so awesome and should be an inspiration to us all. and coach bowden aint so bad either at 76. i thinks thats the key to longevity.. to keep your mind active and do something that keeps you passionate into your old age. those 2 old dudes ROCK!!!!!

 joe pa deserves a victory... he deserves THIS victory. everyone please cross your fingers for him and his team.

 tomorrow's the big day.... woo hoo... the ROSE BOWL!!!! Hook'm Horns!!!
