i don't know why i haven't been able to get john lennon out of my mind these past few days. just feeling a huge loss. i mean the dude's been dead for 25 years.

like Jossyl wrote me.. "Did you ever just sit and wonder how awsome his music would of gotten if he was still living today. That thought blows my mind sometimes."

Jossyl... my mind IS blown. to me lennon was a modern day genius. he wrote his own songs and composed them. he was a great artist who's doodles showed off his talents. he gave up his career to be a housedad for his son sean. he protested war and spent alot of his own personal money promoting peace. if u ever see his video "happy christmas" u can see how revolutionary he was in trying to promote peace. watching the video "no. 9 dream", you can see how much in love he and yoko really were. when they looked at each other and kissed, you can see the real emotions behind it, things like that just can't be faked. all of that was taken away from us during the prime of his life.

McCartney had hits til he was 50. i can only imagine what Lennon could've done musically for another 10-15 years if he was given that chance. yesterday he would've been 65. a belated happy birthday to you john and thank you for making the world a much better place with your presence.
