not much happened today. been just kinda chillin out and trying to figure out wut to do with my life. i really need a change of environment but can't really decide where to go. my homegirl jinnie asked me to consider moving up to nyc where she is. she's a great friend that helped me out about 3 years ago during my first really difficult breakup. she called me every single day just to make sure i was holding up well. since then i've been all over the world and always made sure that we remained in contact with each other. we each had our own relationships so were kinda too busy to devote as much time as we wanted to each other. recently she's had a breakup which coincided with mine so we have kinda been drawn to each other again. last nite i got a chance to talk to her,.and tonite she called me up again. it was a short conversation cause she was waiting for the bus. being a city girl, she always takes public transportation, and when she's on her way somewhere she would call me up. she works really late every nite and i guess she calls me up so she wouldn't be afraid to be travelling alone at that time of nite. she sent me a recent pic last nite and she looked absolutely beautiful. earlier tonite i stared at it for wut seems like hours and as always, started thinking wut if? been thinking alot about relationships. i'm getting older and have been ready to settle down. thought about signing up for an online dating site but am kinda picky as to the sort of woman i'm attracted to. almost signed up for a european dating site. changed my mind at the last minute cause i gotta get some new pics taken of me. i would love to be studying in a foreign country. if i tried, i can probably come up with enough money to study for a year somewhere. preferably eastern europe. i love that part of the world. bulgaria, romania, maybe even czech republic if i could afford it. perhaps even new zealand, australia, or korea. my homeboy frankie tells me to go to mexico and i could probably find me a fairly attractive chick. not gonna rush it cause i'm still hurting from all of the recent drama in my life. the new chick at work has been flirting with me lately. she's hispanic and has really beautiful eyes. a little bit thick for my taste but her face is pretty. we joke around with each other alot. frankie says that i should ask for her digits but i'm not ready for that yet. thought i was gonna go out tonite but i was still feeling a little bit woozy from last nite. watched a pretty awesome martial arts dvd about thai kickboxing. i'm half thai but know very little about thailand. the actor in the movie had awesome martial art skillz. i tried and looked at the thai women atresses to see if i found them attractive or not. honestly they're not my type. here's a review of the movie if anyone is interested:
Ong-Bak - The Thai Warrior (2003) No computer graphic can ever surpass what a real human body can do--and what the body can do is on spectacular display in Ong-Bak, a Thai action movie starring the lithe and flexible Tony Jaa. When the head is stolen from a holy statue in Jaa's rural village, he goes to Bangkok to get it back. Of course, it just so happens that the thief is connected to a bar where criminal big shots gamble over bare-knuckle brawls, and Jaa is--despite his virtuous efforts--drawn into the game. But that's only the beginning; a chase through the city streets rivals the ingenious acrobatics of Jackie Chan, with Jaa leaping between panes of glass, over a bicycle in motion, and through a wreath of barbed wire. Jaa's fighting prowess has been compared to Bruce Lee, Jet Li, and just about every other martial arts master, but he has an equal degree of charisma as well. He won't win acting awards, but his engaging presence carries the movie. One word of warning: The numerous fights will make you wince as much as gape in astonishment. Ong-Bak follows the action-flick tradition that the hero needs to be as battered as possible before he ultimately triumphs, and the battering is intense. --Bret Fetzer
